Pico Duarte is the most prominent peak in the Caribbean and the 79th most prominent peak in the world.

 

Alto de la Bandera
2,842 M.A.S.L. / 9,324 feet

Alto de la Bandera is the 4th highest peak in DR and the 3rd in prominence in DR. It’s also the 7th most prominent peak in the Caribbean.

 

Loma Gajo en Medio 
2,279 M.A.S.L. / 7,477 feet

Loma de Gajo en Medio is the 2nd most prominent peak in DR and the 6th in the Caribbean.

-Loma Alto Bandera is a very restricted and militarized zone. We are only allowed to get to the second/upper Gate which is 30 meter below the summit. Summit can’t be seen from this point.

-This is a very rural and basic experience, please do not expect any luxury conditions in this adventure.
