We had an amazing hiking experience with Guias de Alturas. We went up to Pico Duarte with our 2 kids aged 7 and 9. For sure, it’s tough and long but it really worth it! Having the mules is reassuring and our kids could ride them a little while on the first day (the longest one with 8 hours walking) our 2 guides were very caring for us and even though we don’t speak spanish, it was really nice having them. Joel arranged very well the trek for us, he’s very kind and helpful. I highly recommend his services!
